Frequently Asked Questions

Detailed answers to common questions about web development, pricing, and working together.

Pricing & Budget

Professional websites start at approximately 2,000€ for showcase sites (5-10 pages). Projects with custom functionality, e-commerce, or web applications start at 4,000€+. Every project gets a detailed, transparent quote with no hidden costs.

I primarily work on fixed-price project quotes. This gives you cost certainty and aligns incentives — I'm motivated to work efficiently. For ongoing maintenance or consulting, I offer monthly retainer packages.

Standard terms are 30% upfront at project kickoff, 30% at design approval, and 40% at delivery. For larger projects, we can arrange milestone-based payments. All invoicing follows French regulations.

Hosting typically costs 10-30€/month depending on the platform (Railway, Vercel, or similar). Optional maintenance packages start at 100€/month and include updates, monitoring, and support.

Process & Timelines

Showcase sites: 2-4 weeks. Advanced sites with custom features: 4-8 weeks. Web applications: 8-16 weeks. These timelines include design, development, testing and deployment. Your responsiveness with content and feedback can affect the schedule.

To get started, I need: a clear description of your project and goals, examples of sites you like, your content (text, images, logo), and your timeline. If you don't have all of this ready, I can help during the Discovery phase.

Absolutely. I deploy preview versions throughout development so you can see and test the site at every stage. You'll have access to a staging URL from the first week of build.

Minor adjustments within the project scope are included. Additional features or significant changes are quoted separately. With a maintenance package, regular content updates and small tweaks are covered.

Technical

Next.js delivers 3-5x better performance, native SEO capabilities, zero security vulnerabilities from plugins, and lower long-term maintenance costs. WordPress works for simple sites, but Next.js is the professional choice for 2026.

Yes. I've migrated sites from WordPress, Webflow, PHP, Vue, Angular, and other stacks to Next.js. The migration preserves your SEO (301 redirects, sitemap), improves performance dramatically, and gives you a modern, maintainable codebase.

Every site I build is fully responsive — designed for mobile first, then adapted for tablets and desktops. I test on real devices and ensure excellent Core Web Vitals scores across all screen sizes.

Yes. I set up professional hosting on platforms like Railway or Vercel with CI/CD pipelines, SSL certificates, and monitoring. Your site deploys automatically when updates are pushed — no manual FTP uploads.

Location & Service Area

I'm based in Dax, in the Landes department (40), in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. I work with clients locally (Dax, Mont-de-Marsan, Bayonne, Pau, Bordeaux) and remotely across France and Europe.

Yes, for clients in the Landes and surrounding areas (Pays Basque, Béarn, Gironde), in-person meetings are possible for key project milestones. For remote clients, we use video calls and structured online communication.

I work with freelancers, small businesses, SMEs, and startups. My sweet spot is businesses that need a professional web presence but don't have the budget for a large agency. You get senior-level expertise at freelance rates.

Yes, I'm fully bilingual (French and English). I work with international clients and can deliver projects, documentation, and communication in both languages.
